Hey guys! T.G.I.F 😀
If you have seen my last post, you might understand why this post is about NYX product 😛 I got quite a few NYX products, but I didn’t want to review them in one post. It would be too long. So this time – eye shadows took the floor 🙂
I got 3 hot single eye shadows and 2 prismatic ones. Hot single eye shadows are just regular eye shadows (matte, shimmery, pearly), but prismatic ones are metallic and does stand out so much more than hot single ones. BUT, the price is the same 🙂
WIXEN (hot single eye shadow) – matte peach-nude color. Perfect transition shade for fair girls or perfect lid shade for darker skin tone girls.
OWN THE NIGHT (hot single eye shadow) – matte violet-brown color. This is PERFECT for smokey eyes, perfect as crease shade and overall – lovely color. As it’s violet-brown, it will suit every single eye color.
GALACTIC (hot single eye shadow) – smokey blue color. This is pearly color and somehow it didn’t swatch as good as I wanted to. Maybe with a primer it will work better, cause I love the color. It’s very settle blue color, not bright (although it looks like that in the picture 🙂 ) and perfect for smokey eyes too.
GIRL TALK (prismatic eye shadow) – opalescent pink color. When you look at it in person, it may not look that pink, but once you apply it, pink pigment is definitely noticeable. Though, it has a little bit of nude undertone, that makes this color very unique. Very pigmented.
MERMAID (prismatic eye shadow) – opalescent mint with gold shimmer. The name of this shadow already tells everything. This is perfect for summer, to make a little pop of color. Even though it is bright, it’s not too bright to look crazy. You can have a wash of a color or you can build it up to a very intense color. Love it! ❤
And here are the swatches. As you can see, WIXEN is basically blending with my skin tone and smokey blue shade is a bit patchy, though – very cool color. Violet-brown is one of my favorite colors now, cause it looks so sultry once applied. And of course – prismatic shadows. They speak for themselves. For 4$?! COMON’! It’s a steal 🙂
Thanks for stepping by and see you later 😉
