About half a year ago I didn’t have almost anything from Urban Decay. Now I have a few things which I have tested for a while and would like to share my opinion on them. I decided to make this review in 2 parts, just so that I am not overloading this post with too much information. You know me 🙂 I write a lot and detailed, but I will try to keep it short.
This is the Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid foundation. It claims to be natural looking, illuminated and bright, but still transforming complexion. Formula is paraben-free and provides semi-matte finish. It’s also infused with powerful anti-wrinkle peptide, protective and brightening Litchiderm, antioxidant green tea and vitamins.
Quite a lot inside 🙂 What I really enjoy is that it doesn’t have SPF, so it’s perfect for photography, but not for those who want to protect their skin from sun. Texture is very creamy, easily blendable, covers enough to have nice looking complexion and looks very natural on the skin. It doesn’t cling on to my dry patches and doesn’t settle in my smile lines. As I have combination skin, in the end of the working day I start to feel a bit oily in my T-zone, but it doesn’t look greasy. I haven’t noticed any oxidation too. In my opinion this is a good choice as for younger people with dry-combination skin, as well as for mature skin.
The shades I have are 1.0 and 5.0, so that I can mix the right shade for me. 1.0 is the second lightest color and is described as very fair bisque with soft warm undertone. 5.0 is medium shade with slight golden undertone.
This is the Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in the shade Fair Neutral. It’s very creamy, not too thin or too thick. It has medium coverage, but it’s buildable. Though, if you have dark under-eye area, I would suggest to at first correct and then go over with concealer. I like it, but I don’t love it. What I have noticed with light shades (and this is for most of the brands) – they are not as creamy as a bit darker shades. The same goes for foundations – lighter shades applies totally differently than darker shades. They might provide even patchy result. I didn’t experience such problem with this concealer, but few of my dry areas around the eyes did show up. Not sure if I would suggest lightest shades for people with dry under-eye area. But overall I really like it. The applicator is very soft, so it’s very pleasant to apply it directly on your face.
Very much loved product all around the world. All Nighter Setting Spray by Urban Decay. This is the new packaging. As far as I noticed, there was a little price increase, but still – the best spray I have used so far. I tried my best to capture the moment of the spray itself to show – how fine it is. Like a mist. This is a product which is all the time in my makeup kit, because it does it’s job on setting all makeup, taking of that powdery look and prolonging the makeup wear. + this product (maybe even all sprays) are produced by Skindinavia, which is even better.
My experience with Urban Decay products are very good so far. In the next post I will talk about eye shadow base, bronzer and contouring brush which is now in a testing mode 🙂
See ya! 😉
